The Program

The Institute offers a two-year MBA program recognised by the AICTE and the Government of Karnataka. It is an autonomous Institute affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum.

The curriculum consists of twenty-eight courses - spread evenly over four semesters. In addition, each student will do a project work (8 Weeks) as part of the MBA program. A student can specialise either in Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Information Systems, Banking & Finance or international Business.

Eligibility

Graduates in Agriculture, Arts, Commerce, Engineering, Management, Law, Science or other disciplines coming under the 10+2+3 scheme with a minimum of 50% marks (aggregate of three years including languages) in the qualifying examination are eligible. Those appearing for final degree examinations can also apply.

The prospectus and the application form of the Institute can be obtained in person on payment of Rs. 500/- in cash or through a DD drawn in favour of JKSHIM, payable at Nitte. The application form should be duly filled and submitted to the Institute office by the last week of April of that year. Based on the MAT, CAT, XAT, ATMA examination scores, short listed candidates are called for a group discussion and interview at various centres including Mangalore, Bangalore, Mumbai, Kozhikode and Nitte.
