A workshop on Indian Economy and Economic Survey 2010 was organised jointly by Justice K.S.Hegde Institute of Management, Nitte and Corporation Bank on 14th April 2010 at the Millenium hall of Corporation Bank, H.O., Mangalore. 

Dr.Kaushik Basu, Chief Economic Adviser, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, New Delhi and Dr.H.A.C Prasad, Senior Economic Adviser, Ministry of Finance were the main speakers. Sri N.Vinay Hegde, Chancellor, Nitte University was the Chief Guest. Sri J.M.Garg Chairman and Managing Director of the Corporation Bank presided over the function. Dr.M.S.Moodithaya, Director of the institute welcomed the gathering.

Mangalore citizens participated in the program actively by posing problems of both local and national issues. Also, students from various B-Schools of Mangalore region participated in the program.
